圆极化天线阵列设计的顺序旋转馈电技术综述

摘要:
顺序旋转馈电技术因其实现方式简单、无需额外增加成本就可以有效改善圆极化天线的带宽、增益和辐射对称性等特性,在射频识别系统、5G系统、卫星通信和毫米波通信系统中得到了广泛应用。首先介绍了基于顺序旋转馈电技术设计圆极化天线阵列的基本原理,包括辐射单元的选择和顺序旋转馈电网络的基本类型;然后重点从提高圆极化天线阵列性能的角度出发,综述了顺序旋转馈电技术中辐射单元性能提升技术、馈电网络优化关键技术以及两者组成圆极化阵列后的性能优化技术;最后总结了顺序旋转馈电技术在3种通信系统中的应用前景和发展趋势,以期为利用顺序旋转馈电技术设计圆极化天线阵列提供参考。

A Review of Sequential Rotation Feeding Techniques for Circularly Polarized Antenna Array Design

Abstract:
Sequential rotation feeding(SRF) technology has been widely employed in radio frequency identification(RFID),5G,satellite communication,and millimeter-wave communication systems due to its simplicity of implementation and ability to effectively enhance the bandwidth,gain,and radiation symmetry of circularly polarized(CP) antennas without incurring additional costs.At first,the fundamental principles of designing CP antenna arrays based on SRF technology are introduced,including the selection of radiating elements and the basic types of sequentially rotated feeding networks.Subsequently,with a focus on improving the performance of CP antenna arrays,the techniques for enhancing the performance of radiating elements in SRF technology,key technologies for optimizing feeding networks,and strategies for optimizing the overall performance of CP arrays formed by these two components are reviewed.Finally,the application prospects and development trends of SRF technology in three types of communication systems are summarized,in hope of providing insights and references for the design of CP antenna arrays leveraging SRF technology.
