Started in 1958 and sponsored by The 10th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (China’s first comprehensive research institute with interested fields in electronics informtion system), the journal of Telecommunication Engineering(ISSN 1001-893X) is edited and published monthly by Telecommunication Engineering Agency. Its competent authorities is China Electronics Technology Group Corporation(CETC). It contains original papers contributing to the science of communication and electronics, including those concerning telecommunication, radar, information warfare, TT&C and navigation, microwave and antenna, image transmission and processing, computer and network, electronic devices and parts, structure and process technology, etc. In addition the journal includes reviews of latest development of research, studies on the advancement of new technology and other matters of concern to those interested in telecommunication and electronics. It is now composed of three columns, that is Application Fundamental Research and Advanced Technology, Electronics and Information Engineering, and Summarization and Review. An authoritarian publication with a large population of writers and readers in the field of IT and electronics all over the world, the journal ranks among the Core Journals of China continuously for its academic influence and quality. It is also the Excellent Journal of the Ministry of Information Industry. The impact factor and other indexes rank top in the journals of its kind. English title,abstract, and keywords are provided. Peer Review
This Journal operates a double blind peer review process.
1. Initial review
All manuscripts are initially evaluated by the editor. The editor uses a web-based program Academic Misconduct Literature Check(AMLC) (http://check.cnki.net/amlc2/) which compares documents and marks similarities as a possible instance of plagiarism, and checks the suitability for the purpose and scope of the journal.
2. Peer review
The manuscript deemed suitable enters into the peer review process. The editorial department selects expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the manuscript. According to the innovation, scientificity and practicability of the manuscript, a reviewer evaluates the manuscript and gives an objective and fair opinion.
3. Final decision
The editorial board is responsible for the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.
The referees’ comments usually will be returned to the principal/corresponding author(s) in two months.
