Abstract: |
According to the theory of electromagnetic field and the theory of error a
nalysis,the far field condition for antenna test is discussed,the influence of
limited test distance on antenna far field measurement in a microwave anechoic
chamber is analysed, and the error model is established. An example is give
n to illustrate the influence of limited test distance
on antenna electric field intensity and gain measurement in a microwave a
nechoic chamber.The conclusion can provide practical technical guidance for deci
ding quickly and accurately the size and frequency range of antennas suita
ble for being tested in a microwave anechoic chamber. |
