| In High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA), soft handoff (SHO) which is utilized normally in CDMA systems may cause more interference to the downlink, therefore fast cell selection (FCS) is put forward in 3GPP. Combining with the proposals of 3GPP, the FCS algorithm is analyzed in this paper. |
