针对低轨卫星星座对地覆盖时的星间切换频繁、切换信令开销大等问题,提出利用跳波束进行对地覆盖的系统解决方案。充分利用跳波束相对固定覆盖的特性和卫星轨道运行的特性,提出虚拟接入点动态部署技术、基于地球覆盖表的连续覆盖方法和星间切换方法等关键技术,最大程度精简系统设计,降低星间切换频次,简化切换信令流程。仿真结果表明,在典型场景下,能够实现区域24 h连续覆盖所需卫星数从超过15 000颗下降至210颗,切换频次降低从5.7秒/次下降至392.3秒/次,切换信令开销从10次信令下降至2次信令。 |

Abstract: |
A system solution for ground coverage using hopping beams is proposed to address the issues of frequent inter-satellite handover and high handover signaling overhead in low Earth orbit(LEO) satellite constellations.By fully utilizing the characteristics of fixed coverage of hopping beams and satellite moving along orbit,key technologies such as dynamic deployment of virtual access points,continuous coverage method and inter-satellite switching method based on Earth coverage table are proposed to streamline system design,reduce inter-satellite handover frequency,and simplify handover signaling process as much as possible.The simulation results show that in typical scenarios,the number of satellites required for 24 h continuous coverage in a region can be reduced from over 15 000 to 210,the handover frequency can be reduced from 5.7 seconds per time to 392.3 seconds per time,and the handover signaling overhead can be reduced from 10 signaling times to 2 signaling times. |
