一种基于RS-CRC级联的存储数据保护技术

摘要:
大气辐射等因素会对航空电子系统中存储系统的数据造成极大威胁。针对航空嵌入式应用的两种常用数据位宽,对存储芯片实现Chipkill数据保护技术和数据传输路径进行RS-CRC级联加固。基于缩短RS(Reed-Solomon)码算法实现Chipkill数据保护技术,面向应用对象选择适合的有限域进行缩短RS编译码运算,并设计哈希查找表译码算法实现低延迟并行译码。基于循环冗余校验(Cyclic Redundancy Check,CRC)码校验机制并利用突发传输实现数据链路加固技术,不增加额外存储资源的情况下对写入数据链路进行加固。实现和验证表明,RS-CRC级联设计资源利用较少,LUT使用量仅为有限域GF(28)的47.5%,纠错能力强,是一种有效的存储数据保护技术。

A Storage Data Protection Technique Based on RS-CRC Concatenation

Abstract:
Atmospheric radiation and other factors pose a significant threat to data in the storage systems of an avionics system.For the two common data bit widths used in aviation embedded applications,Chipkill data protection technology and data transmission paths are implemented with concatenated RS-CRC.Based on the shortened Reed-Solomon(RS) code algorithm,Chipkill data protection technology is realized,and the shortened RS encoding and decoding operations are performed in a suitable finite field selected for the application object,with a Hash lookup table decoding algorithm designed for low-latency parallel decoding.Data transmission paths hardening technology is achieved based on the cyclic redundancy check(CRC) checking mechanism and by utilizing burst transmission,without the need for additional storage resources to reinforce the write data transmission paths.Implementation and verification show that the concatenated RS-CRC design uses fewer resources,with LUT usage at only 47.5% in the finite field 〨F(28),and has strong error correction capabilities,making it an effective storage data protection technology.
