具有多普勒容忍性的CPM调制波形设计

摘要:
针对雷达通信一体化波形多普勒敏感和误码率(Bit Error Rate,BER)高的问题,提出了一种具有多普勒容忍性的一体化波形设计方法。该方法利用互补序列的理想自相关性能,根据PTM(Prouhet-Thue-Morse)序列的值,对二进制广义布尔函数Golay互补序列进行排序形成脉冲序列,从而实现具有多普勒容忍性的波形构造;然后将脉冲序列进行差分编码与连续相位调制(Continuous Phase Modulation,CPM),最终得到CPM调制后的波形,以此提高信号传输的准确性。仿真结果表明,所提方法在多普勒容忍性区间内距离旁瓣峰值比GCP-Random方法低24.46 dB,比PTM方法低0.51 dB。在信噪比为0 dB时,该方法的BER相比PTM 等对比方法具有近30 dB的优势。

CPM Modulated Waveform Design with Doppler Tolerance

Abstract:
To address the problems of Doppler sensitivity and high bit error rate(BER) in integrated radar and communication waveform,a design method for the waveform with Doppler tolerance is proposed.By utilizing the ideal autocorrelation property of the complementary sequences,the pulse sequences are formed by ordering the Golay complementary sequences of binary generalized Boolean functions according to the value of the Prouhet-Thue-Morse(PTM) sequence,so that a Doppler tolerance waveform is constructed.Then differential coding and continuous phase modulation(CPM) of the pulse sequences are performed,which improves the accuracy of the signal transmission.Simulation results show that the proposed method exhibits 24.46 dB lower peak sidelobe level than that of the GCP-Random method,and 0.51 dB lower than that of the PTM method in the Doppler tolerance interval.Additionally,at a signal-to-noise ratio of 0 dB,the method has a BER advantage of nearly 30 dB over comparative methods such as PTM.
