Abstract: |
By introducing reinforced heat transfer structure to enhance the convective heat transfer of the regular serpentine minichannel heat sink,a heat sink with turbulence minichannel is constructed and compared with the regular serpentine minichannel heat sink by numerical simulation.Compared with the regular serpentine minichannel heat sink,this new design is found to significantly reduce both the pressure drop across the heat sink and the total thermal resistance by up to 66.7% and 9.2% respectively,and the average Nusselt number is enhanced by 17.2%.The flow and heat transfer in the cold plate is numerically analyzed in detail,and the heat transfer enhancement effect and mechanism of the turbulence minichannel is studied. |
