ESS模式下AN/APY-9雷达探测效能算法模型研究

摘要:
E-2D“鹰眼”预警机在对远距离目标进行重点探测与跟踪时,其机载AN/APY-9雷达通常工作在扇区重点扫描(Enhanced Sector Scan,ESS)模式,以保证方位全覆盖的同时能重点监控某一方向的战场情况。根据ADS-18天线阵面结构相关资料,推理分析了该型雷达的技术参数和ESS模式下的工作机理,综合考虑影响其探测能力的工作频率、阵元间距、目标雷达反射截、目标和波束数量等因素,区分重点扇区扫描和非重点扇区扫描构建了AN/APY-9雷达的远距离探测能力算法模型,可运用于对该新型雷达装备的作战实验仿真。

Abstract:
When the E-2D Hawkeye airborne early warning aircraft performs key detection and tracking of long-range targets,its AN/APY-9 radar usually works in enhanced sector scan(ESS) mode to ensure full azimuth coverage while focusing on monitoring battlefield conditions in a certain direction.According to the data of ADS-18 antenna array structure,the technical parameters of the radar and the working mechanism in ESS mode are analyzed by inference.The factors affecting its detection ability,such as operating frequency,array element spacing,target radar reflection intercept,target and beam number,are comprehensively considered.The algorithm model of remote detection capability of AN/APY-9 radar is constructed by distinguishing key sector scanning and non-key sector scanning,which can be applied in the combat experiment simulation of the new radar equipment.
