低轨卫星宽带OFDM通信相位噪声群时延的联合估计

摘要:
针对低轨卫星宽带正交频分复用通信系统中相位噪声和群时延影响相互耦合而恶化接收机性能的问题,提出了一种相位噪声群时延联合估计算法。通过理论分析相位噪声群时延耦合下接收信号特征,利用非线性群时延泰勒级数模型与相噪连续特性,基于导频和二维估计内插实现了接收信号公共相位误差的联合估计。仿真结果表明,该算法能够有效估计系统相位噪声与群时延引入的相位失真,与传统独立估计和分离估计方法相比性能均有较大提升。

Abstract:
In broadband low Earth orbit(LEO) satellite communication system with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM),the phase noise and group delay causing phase distortion are coupled with each other,which degrades the performance of the receiver.In order to solve this problem,an algorithm for estimating and compensating the effect of phase noise and group delay jointly is proposed.Through theoretical analysis of the characteristics of the received signal under the coupling effect of the two factors,pilot symbols are inserted in the time-frequency domain of the OFDM signal to estimate the common phase error of the received signal.Using the nonlinear group delay Taylor Series model and the continuity characteristics of phase noise,the two-dimensional estimation and interpolation is applied to estimate phase distortion.The simulation results demonstrate the algorithm can effectively estimate the phase distortion and outperforms the traditional methods which compensate the noise separately.
