降低OFDM系统带外泄漏和PAPR的新预编码方法

摘要:
预编码技术是解决正交频分复用(OFDM)系统高带外泄漏和高信号峰均功率比(PAPR)的有效方法之一,但是一个预编码方案大多只解决其中的一个问题。针对这个局限,提出了一种联合预编码方案。该方案建立在一个降低带外泄漏的预编码框架下,引入编码冗余度,通过数学推导将问题转化为矩阵范数的最小化问题,并结合一种可以直接降低PAPR的预编码矩阵,联合推导得出优化正交预编码矩阵,最终实现同时降低带外泄漏和PAPR。仿真结果表明,与其他的OFDM方案相比,这种联合预编码方法可以仅使用一个预编码矩阵同时达到带外泄漏和PAPR的抑制,并且较小的冗余度就能达到很好的效果,随着冗余度的改变抑制效果也会有所变化。

Abstract:
Out-of-Band leakage and high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio(PAPR) are two main challenges for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) systems.Both problems have precoding solutions,however generally a specific precoding scheme solves only one of them.Considering this shortage,this paper presents a combined precoding method.This method is based on a precoding framework which introduces redundant carries to suppress out-of-band leakage.So the problem is transformed into a minimization problem of matrix norms and combined with a precoding matrix which reduces PAPR directly.By mathematical derivation,the scheme finally obtains an optimal orthogonal precoding matrix,which can reduce both out-of-band leakage and PAPR at the same time. The simulation results show that compared with other methods,the proposed one uses only one precoding matrix to achieve two goals,and a small redundancy can get good results.As the redundancy changes,the effects of the method will also change.
