| Civil watercrafts are the main market with which marine navigation rad
ars are concerned. The requirements of low cost and appropriate performances det
ermine that the developing progress of marine radars are entirely different from that of other mil
itary radars. In this paper, the market status, present main techn
ology and future tendency of marine radars are reviewed, some latest appli
cations instead of navigation, such as security & surveillance and protection of ecological environment, are introduced. |
