Abstract: |
The application demand of submarine detection for random rough sea sur
face by synthetic aperture radar(SAR), as well as the generation mechanics, is a
nalyzed. The backscattering of the random rough sea surface with Gaussian form c
orrelation function is calculated
. The calculation method which considers the shadowing effect of the sea wave un
der high sea state is proposed. Simulation results indicate that the shadowing e
ffect of the sea wave can reduce the sea wave backscatter and make it closer to
real value of backscattering. The reduction amount depends on many factors
such as the sea state. |
