视频对象形状编码是视频压缩传输中的重要环节,为了获得较好的恢复图像质量,提
出了新的七方向差分链码的形状编码。在对象分割的基础上,利用每个码与其前一个码之间
的
方向变化角度值来定义码值,这样码值则集中在其中几个码元上,并采用可变长编码对形状
进行压缩,则需要的码长较短。实验表明,新算法与八方向链码相比,峰值信噪比平均提高
了1.2 dB,运行时间减少了2.1 ms。 |

Video object shape coding is an important part in video compression. I
n order to obtain a better reconstructed image,a seven differential chain(SDC)
algor
ithm is introduced in video object shape coding. After video object segmentation
, each code value is defined to mean the angle value of the change directio
n between the code and its former one, so the code value is concentrated in a fe
w codes. Through shape compression using variable length coding,the required co
de length is shorter. Experimen
tal results showed that the time of new algorithm is reduced 2.1 ms and P
SNR is increased about 1.2 dB,compared with the eight Freeman algorithm. |
