智能天线技术及其发展

摘要:
首先介绍了近年来智能天线的大体研究现状,对在该领域开展研究较早且较成熟的日本和欧洲进行了重点介绍;随后从模拟与数字智能天线、单RF通道与多RF通道智能天线以及普通智能天线与MIMO三个角度,结合相应的技术方案对不同技术类型各自的特点和优缺点进行了比较。最后,讨论了智能天线应用于移动通信的优势,着重介绍了日本ATR研究所研制的可用于移动终端的ESPAR天线。

Abstract:
International developments in Smart Antenna(SA) are introduced,with emphasis on the study in Japan and Europe.Then the merits as well as demerits of analog SA and digital SA,single RF channel SA and multiple RF channel SA,and regular SA and MIMO are discussed respectively,each accompanied by some corresponding newly emerged technologies.Finally advantages of SA application in mobile communication are presented,and the ESPAR developed by ATR is introduced.
