| Abstract: |
| The prediction of self-similar traffic and its impact on the performance analysis of network system and network resource utilization is discussed. Then a non-parameter predictor considered self-similarity of network traffic is proposed based on the algorithm of Wiener-Kolmogorov. Finally, the application of this predictor is studied in real-time transfer of multimedia. |
