| Implement Mobile IP Function Using Multicast Technology |

| The multicast and the Mobile IP are two technologies with special relationship, each of which is introduced in detail. It is proposed that the Mobile IP function can be implemented by using the multicast technology. The details about how to realize the basic Mobile IP function, the handoff and route optimization by using PIM-SM are described. It shows that the new proposal has better performance. |
