| This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of FPGA-based DSP solution, and compares the difference between FPGA chips and DSP chips. Then it introduces how to solve the gap between DSP designers and FPGA designers - XtremeDSP kit and platform Virtex II chip. Finally it elaborates on the character of XtremeDSP kit and Vitex II chip. |
