| Abstract: |
| In this paper,the theory of subbands and transform coding for audio signals is discussed. In order to eliminate the blocking effects,the lapped transforms as a new method for audio coding associated with its fast algorithm and filter designs is introduced. Finally,the subinformation abstracting for an optimum bit allocation is illustrated briefly. |
