| Serious frabrication difficulties in producing microminiaturized inductances with therequired parameters have inspired considerable research effort directed towards obtaining fre-quency-selective Characteristics by alternative means. In general the effort has been made intwo main dierctions: attempts to discover physical phenomena in materials and devices whichcould be used for frequency selection; attempts to devise circuits which could perform thisfunction using only active devices, resistors and capacitors. |
