| 双载波相移双边带调制的瞬时频率测量方案 |

| 摘要: |
| 为在宽频范围内实时获取待测信号的频率信息,设计了一种采用载波相移双边带(Carrier Phase-shifted Double Sideband,CPS-DSB)调制的瞬时频率测量方案。该方案利用一个激光源、两个移相器和一个哠ymbolpA@偏置的马赫-曾德尔调制器(Mach-Zehnder Modulator,MZM)构建两个具有不同相位的CPS-DSB调制系统,再分别与单模光纤、光电探测器进行融合处理,利用色散导致功率衰减效应建立输出功率比与待测频率之间的对应关系,构造出幅度比较函数,进而完成频率测量功能。仿真结果表明,该方案可在0.1~15.7 GHz范围内对待测频率进行测量,且测量误差小于80 MHz。通过分别调节双CPS-DSB调制的载波相位,可改变待测频率的测量范围和测量误差,进而利用宽带粗测量和窄带细测量的两步测量法完成高性能的频率测量。此外,分析了激光源线宽、待测信号强度、MZM消光比和偏置电压漂移4个因素对该方案频率测量的影响。 |

| A scheme for instantaneous frequency measurement based on carrier phase-shifted double sideband(CPS-DSB) modulation is designed to instantaneously obtain frequency information of the unknown signal over a wide frequency range.In the proposed scheme,dual CPS-DSB modulations with different phases are constructed by using a laser,two phase shifters and a Mach-Zehnder modulator(MZM) biased at the minimum transmission point.In combination with a single mode fiber and two photodetectors,an amplitude comparison function,which utilizes dispersion-induced power fading,is established by shaping the corresponding relationship between the output power ratio of two photodetectors and the unknown frequency,and so the frequency measurement is accomplished.Simulation results illustrate that a frequency measurement range of 0.1~15.7 GHz with an error of less than 80 MHz is obtained.The measurement range and measurement error of the unknown frequency can be shifted by adjusting carrier phases of the two CPS-DSB modulations,and so the frequency measurement with high performance can be realized by adopting a two-step measurement method that is a combined operation of a large range rough measurement and a small range precise measurement.In addition,the influences of laser linewidth,unknown signal intensity,extinction ratio and bias voltage drift of MZM on the frequency measurement are analyzed. |
