正交频分复用(OFDM)技术应用于无线图像传输可解决由于图像数据量大带来的传
输效率问题,但系统子载波相位误差影响着OFDM图像传输质量。首先推导出一种相位误差存
在时MPSK信号误符号率近似式,然后,利用该近似式对带有相位误差的MPSK调制OFDM图像传
输系统的性能及图像接收质量进行了研究。结果表明,子载波相位误差会对OFDM系统性能产
生显著的影响,且当MPSK相位误差增大至π/M(M为MPSK调制电平数)时,增加信
噪比已无助于OFDM图像质量的改善。 |

Impact of phase error on OFDM wireless image transmission systems |

Abstract: |
The inefficient transmission problem associated with large data quanti
ties of wireless images may be resolved with the orthogonal frequency division m
ultiplexing(OFDM) technology, but the phase error in subcarriers still affects
the OFDM image quality.The approximative expression for the symbol error rate(SE
R) of the MPSK system with phase error is derived and then by using
the expression, the SER and the received image quality of the OFDM system modu
lated by MPSK with phase error are simulated. Results show that the phase error
in subcarriers has an obvious influence on the performance of an OFDM system,
and there is no helpful improvement of the image quality by increasing the SNR wh
en the phase error increases to π/M where M is MPSK modulation level nu
mber. |
