| 讨论了降低OFDM系统峰均比所采用的基于数值变换的压缩扩张算法，给出了几种压扩函数，推导出了使用压扩变换后OFDM系统的误码率公式，由此分析了压扩算法对OFDM系统性能的影响。可以看出，该算法不仅能有效降低OFDM系统的峰均比，而且能降低系统的误码率。仿真结果表明，本文给出的公式较好地反映了使用该算法后OFDM系统的误码性能。 |

| Effect of Companding Arithmetic for Reducing PAPR on Symbol Error Rate of an OFDM System |

| The companding arithmetic based on numeric transform to reduce the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio(PAPR) of an OFDM system is discussed,several companding functions are given,and the symbol error rate expression of the OFDM system transformed by this arithmetic is derived.Using this expression,the effect of companding arithmetic on OFDM system is analyzed.It shows that the arithmetic can not only reduce the PAPR of OFDM system,but also reduce the symbol error rate.Simulations indicate that the expression presented here can reflect the performance of symbol error rate in OFDM system after companding transformed. |
