Abstract: |
The continuous working time of terminals without recharge is a key factor to make Ad Hoc networks be widely used, and the industrial circles have been trying to use power-saving mechanisms to increase the longevity of batteries. Some typical power-saving mechanisms in Ad Hoc networks are introduced,classified and compared. Some difficulties in using power-saving mechanisms are discussed and the research directions in this field are given. |
