| LACE satellite is a special-purpose experimental satellite designed by U.S.A. for testing weapon systems such as strong laser ones. This paper describes the origin of the LACE satellite plan, evolution of experiment process, selection of satellite trajectory, composition of on-board instruments and ground support system, and analyses its key elements. |
