海洋环境监测高频地波雷达的研究现状与发展趋势

摘要:
高频地波雷达作为一种海洋遥感的重要手段,已有30多年的历史,它可用于海洋表面风、浪、流等状态参数的提取,还可用于目标探测,在专属经济区的监测中,高频地波雷达具有无可比拟的优势。本文介绍了高频地波雷达的发展历史和研究现状及其应用领域,详细叙述了武汉大学研制的高频地波雷达OSMAR2000的体系结构、性能指标和信号处理方法,最后对该研究领域的发展趋势作了简要分析。

Abstract:
The high frequency(HF)ground wave radar (GWR) is emerging as a significant tool for monitoring ocean surface condition at ranges well beyond the line-of-sight horizon that limits conventional systems.Experiments and theory 30 years ago demonstrated the utility and accuracy of HF radar for mapping ocean surface currents,waves,and winds.This paper reviews the long history of this evolution to operational,describes the technique specifications and operational circulation of OSMAR2000(Ocean State Measuring and Analyzing Radar, in 2000,Wuhan University, China).Finally,the authors analyse several improvements underway to the present state of the technology.
