Abstract: |
The rapidly developing DSP technology has more and more become a powerful tool in the field of speech processing, which makes it possible to implement all kinds of complex algorithm in real time. ITU Recommendation G.723.1 is a very low bit rate speech coder with two associated bit rate of 5.3 and 6.3kbit/s, mainly used in the field of multimedia communication. In this paper, the principle of this algorithm and its implementation on a single chip of foxed point TMS320C541 DSP are presented, including the structure of hardware, software and the key technology in the process of implementation. |
