Abstract: |
Antennas designed for use at millimetre wave and sub-millimetre wave are re-viewed. The use of these parts of the spectrum for communications, radar and remote sensing isgrowing rapidly and with it the demand for high performance antennas. Many novel designs havebeen developed to exploit the unique characteristics of millimetre waves. The short wavelengthmeans fine tolerances which has led to precision and efficient reflectors and feed horns the paperreviews the current position for reflectors, lenses, horns, planar antennas, travelling wave antennasand integrated antennas. |
