| Starting with description of application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), this lecture chiefly describes the principle and architecture of programmable logic devices(PLD).As viewed from application, this lecture Introduces the architecture and feature of general array logic(GAL) devices, which emphasizes upon the programming technique of PLD. Finally, several examples of application of PLD are given. |
