Abstract: |
The paper describes a microwave sampling system,whose sensitivity hasbeen raised by digital processing of the measurement data.The signal processing getsmore troublesome due to a time drift caused by electronic circuits in the samplingoscilloscope.A proper method to compensate for this time drift has been developed.The effect of noise is discussed,giving the remaining time uncertainty as a functionof the signal to noise ratio.Finally,an example explains how the method can beapplied in an automatic sampling system. |
