利用局部灰度特征分析实现红外弱小目标检测

摘要:
提出了一种利用局部灰度特征分析进行红外弱小目标检测的新方法。该方法通过判 断图像局部灰度包络曲面是否具备二维高斯函数曲面特征实现红外弱小目标检测,不需要进 行传统的背景预测。设计了新的目标局部灰度特征提取方法和适合工程计算的自动目标检测 算法。实验结果证明了算法参数选择策略的有效性,验证了算法对复杂背景边缘良好的杂波 抑制能力。

Abstract:
A new method of infrared small and dim target detection is proposed. Instead of traditional background prediction, this method detects infrared small and dim target by judging whether the local grey level surface possesses the two dimension Gauss function feature. A new feature extraction method of local grey level of target and an auto target detection algorithm adapting for engineerin g computation are designed. The results of experiment show that the paramete r selecting strategy of the proposed algorithm is effective and the proposed alg orithm has good capability to restrain false alarm around complex background edg e.
