Abstract: |
Fibre channel is defined as a highly-reliable, high-speed and long-distance connectivity interface, which is mainly used to transfer data between workstations, mainframes, supercomputers and storage devices using upper level prototypes such as SCSI, ATM etc. The data transfer rate, topology and service classes are presented in this article to indicate that fibre channel is a good choice to solve I/O problem of the system. |
